Heart NTA provides first class services in collaboration with the government of Jamaica. We strive to make young people more employable and work ready.
We at HEART are committed to connecting competent job seekers with recruiters for mutually beneficial and rewarding working relationships. Improve your job search, get noticed by top Jamaican employers, and find your next career.
Available at our regional and parish offices, our Job Readiness service is designed to help prepare you for entry into the workplace. Learn the ins and outs of skilled resume writing, best practices for your job interview, and the key attitudes and behaviours you need to embrace in order to keep you employed.
Available at our regional and parish offices, our Career Guidance & Advisory services are aimed at helping you make informed decisions about education, training and work options. With mentorship, coaching and counselling, we support you in gaining more self-awareness about your capabilities and interests, exploring the labour market, as well as developing realistic and actionable plans for your career.
We analyse and assess our clients’ training needs in order to effectively implement suitable training programmes that fit their specifications. An in-depth review takes place between the representatives from your business or organisation, and our designated officer who will guide you in making the most informed staff-training decisions.
Based on the assessment services currently offered by NCTVET (National Council on Technical and Vocational Education and Training), HEART validates the competencies of the trainees, and where appropriate, makes recommendations to the NCTVET for a range of award types. NCTVET’s assessment services are offered to public and private institutions, companies and individuals 4 times for the year: in January, June, September and December. The service is accessed through the NCTVET registrar or the registrars of Accredited Training Institutions (ATOs).
Available at HEART regional and parish offices as well as online, diagnostic assessments are designed to determine your literacy and numeracy levels. Psychometric assessments, on the other hand, are designed to measure your behavioural and learning style. Both types of assessments are offered in order to help determine the appropriate HEART training programme for you.

Education is the first step for people to gain the knowledge, critical thinking, empowerment and skills they need to make this world a better place. It’s important to seize the day, but always make time to go deeper and wider in your learning.
